Arizona tax law (ARS §43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a tax credit if they contribute to extracurricular activities in public schools. So not only can you reduce your overall tax bill, you can help contribute to the education of children in your community! It’s a win-win!
WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE?
Single individuals or those filing as head of household can contribute up to $200 and married couples filing a joint return can contribute up to $400. A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar deduction in the actual tax owed.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
Funds received by our district under the Tax Credit program help to fund extracurricular activities, including field trips, sports programs, clubs, and after-school programs. You can decide what program(s) you would like to support, or you can allow us to funnel the funds to our greatest needs.
